American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a hospital position requiring GA or Compact RN licensure and telemetry experience.

• Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 14-week contract length
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate

• Active GA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• No RTO or schedule changes permitted after offer or during orientation week
• Holiday coverage expected for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day
• No holiday RTO may be requested if 1-2 holidays fall during the assignment; one holiday RTO request may be considered if 3 holidays occur
• Fixed shift schedule with no alternate shift or schedule requests permitted
• Former permanent, PRN, or internal staff must be away from all facilities within the health system for one full year before returning as a traveler
• Travelers who cancel or are released must complete one assignment outside the health system before reapplying
• Compliance documents and onboarding items must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
