Clark Wood are pleased to be partnering with a prestigious and leading North West firm of chartered accountants as they seek to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior for their Stockport office.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a wide array of clients across various industries.

As an Audit & Accounts Senior
, you’ll undertake a mixed role which will see you leading audit assignments from planning to completion as well as preparing and reviewing year-end accounts and corporate tax returns. The workload will be evenly split between audit and accounts work.

• Lead audit assignments from planning to completion, focusing on group entities, large standalone companies, and not-for-profits.
• Prepare and review year-end accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with audit objectives.
• Supervise junior staff, providing guidance and contributing to their professional development.
• Undertake corporation tax compliance work in conjunction with audit and accounts responsibilities.

• ACA/ACCA Qualified or nearing completion of qualifications.
• Proven experience in a mixed audit and accounts role, including leadership of audit assignments.
