: £38,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Clark Wood are partnering with a leading North West firm of chartered accountants to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior for their Stockport office. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a wide array of clients across various industries. As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you'll undertake a mixed role which will see you leading audit assignments from planning to completion as well as preparing and reviewing year‑end accounts and corporate tax returns.

• Lead audit assignments from planning to completion, focusing on group entities, large standalone companies, and not‑for‑profits.
• Prepare and review year‑end accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with audit objectives.
• Supervise junior staff, providing guidance and contributing to their professional development.
• Undertake corporation tax compliance work in conjunction with audit and accounts responsibilities.

• ACA / ACCA qualified or nearing completion of qualifications.
• Proven experience in a mixed audit and accounts role, including leading audit assignments.
