Are you an experienced tax professional looking to broaden your expertise across both corporate and personal tax? We’re seeking a talented Mixed Tax Senior to join a well-established and forward‑thinking accountancy practice in Stockport. About the Role

As a Mixed Tax Senior, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients across both personal and corporate tax. You’ll take a hands‑on role in compliance, advisory projects, and client relationship management, while supporting junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of the tax department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a mixed portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
  • Prepare and review tax returns, computations, and supporting documentation
  • Assist with tax planning and advisory projects (including restructuring, remuneration planning, and property matters)
  • Liaise with HMRC and handle client queries promptly and professionally
  • Support and mentor junior staff
  • Identify opportunities to add value and improve tax efficiency for clients
  • Stay up‑to‑date with tax legislation and contribute to technical discussions
About You
  • ATT qualified or part‑qualified (CTA preferred but not essential)
  • Strong experience in both personal and corporate tax within a practice
  • Excellent technical knowledge of UK tax legislation
  • Confident communicator with strong client‑facing skills
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Keen to develop professionally and progress within a growing firm
