Accounts Assistant

We're a thriving and fast-paced construction company looking for a motivated and organised Accounts & Admin Assistant to join our busy office team. You will join a small accounts team and report back to the Accounts Manager.

In this varied role, you'll play a key part in keeping our financial and administrative operations running smoothly.

• Processing and matching supplier invoices
• Matching, batching and reconciling payments
• Resolving supplier queries efficiently and professionally
• Performing CIS status checks and managing HMRC data verification for suppliers
• Reconciling supplier statements and maintaining accurate financial records

You'll also have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of ad hoc administrative tasks that keep our projects and office operations running seamlessly.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Previous experience in accounts or admin (ideally within the construction sector)
• AAT qualifed or working towards the qualification
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive approach and willingness to help across the business
• Strong IT skills including experience with MS Excel and accounting software
