Role Summary

We are seeking a competent and caring individual to serve as a Personal Assistant to the Executive Team at our head office in Stockport. In this role you will work proactively with senior management to ensure tasks are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prioritise a varied workload, exercising appropriate judgement and responding promptly and appropriately to all enquiries.
  • Handle information of a confidential nature and observe the highest standards of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and liaise professionally with service users, staff and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Office PA team, deputise for colleagues in their absence and manage peaks in workload.
  • Assume specialised lead responsibilities in designated areas of the business as the role develops.
  • Provide support for evening and weekend work to facilitate board of trustee sub‑committees and duty management duties at the head office; such work will be planned well in advance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in administration; experience in the social care sector is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of IT competence and ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage a diverse workload.
  • Professional, discreet handling of confidential information.
  • Willingness to travel nationally when required.

Employment Details

This is primarily a full‑time role; part‑time work of at least 30 hours per week will be considered.
