, the UK’s leading energy transition and utilities contractor, as a Quantity Surveyor and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, cost-effective infrastructure projects.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll manage all aspects of cost and contractual control across a range of exciting projects. From cost estimation to procurement, contract administration, and risk management, your expertise will ensure our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesCost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare accurate estimates and develop detailed budgets.
Tendering & Procurement: Manage tender processes and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors.
Contract Administration: Draft and manage contracts, variations, and claims.
Cost Control & Monitoring: Track expenditures and produce regular cost reports.
Measurement & Valuation: Quantify work and certify payments.
Risk Management: Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
Chartered status (RICS/CICES) or working towards it.
Proven experience in the construction or utilities sector.
Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and cost control.
Proficiency in QS software and Microsoft Office.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
