A welcoming primary school in Stockport is seeking a confident and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a long‑term role beginning in January 2026, with the potential to move onto a permanent school contract for the right candidate. The school, rated “Good” under the latest OFSTED framework, offers a warm and supportive environment, with a strong emphasis on staff development and pupil progress.

• General classroom support across KS2
• 2 hours per week of PPA cover – confidence in leading a full class is essential
• Supportive staff and leadership team
• Ongoing CPD and training opportunities
• Strong focus on literacy and numeracy development

• Minimum CACHE Level 3 qualification or a relevant degree with school‑based experience
• Experience working within Key Stage 2
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum, particularly in Maths and English
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Enthusiastic about pupil achievement and progress
• High expectations for behaviour and learning
• Caring and nurturing approach
