Reeson Education is recruiting a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 class at a friendly, two-form entry primary school in the SK5 area of Stockport. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time, long-term, and starts as soon as possible.

The school is seeking a Teaching Assistant who can offer both academic and emotional support to pupils from a wide range of backgrounds. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be working with small groups and supporting individuals across the curriculum. The right Teaching Assistant will be proactive, encouraging, and passionate about helping children thrive.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:

* Support children across KS2 in class and in small groups

* Help deliver engaging lessons and interventions

* Encourage positive behaviour and focused learning

* Collaborate with the class teacher and SEN team

* Adapt resources to support diverse learning needs

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:

* Be a confident and flexible Teaching Assistant

* Have experience supporting pupils in KS2

* Show strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Be passionate about inclusion and equality

* Be fully committed to the role and school community

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

* Right to work in the UK

* Relevant references covering the last 2-3 years

* A passion for supporting pupils in primary education
