This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and outstanding candidate to join our hardworking team.

Role Purpose

The Pastoral Manager will lead on personal development, behaviour, attendance and wellbeing, ensuring that safeguarding, behaviour and attendance systems are effective and robust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring all pastoral, behaviour and attendance information is recorded and actioned.
  • Oversee pastoral data, reporting trends to SLT and use analysis to improve provision.
  • Co‑ordinate and oversee behaviour and attendance monitoring systems and strategies including Early Help and multi‑agency referrals.
  • Lead on complex safeguarding cases under the direction of the Co‑Headteachers.
  • Lead on annual staff safeguarding training and maintain training and compliance records.
  • Liaise with parents and carers to address concerns and support attendance, behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Represent school in multi‑agency meetings including PEPs, TACs, Annual reviews and Early Help processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, health professionals, social care and other external services.
  • Undertaking any other duties appropriate to the grade and role of the post as requested by the Headteacher.
