• Contract Type: Permanent
• Hours: 37 hours per week (term time only plus 3 negotiated weeks for September inset)
• Salary: £28,598 – £31,022 (NJC Scale
  5) – (actual £26,106 – £28,319)
• Start Date: As soon as possible

As Pastoral Manager you will support students’ learning by focusing on behaviour, attendance and working with parents and external agencies to develop positive attitudes and approaches to achievement. You will share a commitment to young people’s development, empathise with their challenges, set high expectations and clear boundaries and work closely with a Head of Year and the wider Pastoral Team.

• Outstanding pastoral and leadership experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents and external agencies
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults
• Disclosure and Barring Service check – successful appointment will be conditional upon satisfactory clearance
• Experience of working with diverse and under‑represented groups is desirable
