Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) – Stockport

Location:

Stockport & Surrounding Areas.

Start Date:

Ongoing – Immediate Work Available. Pay: £110.00 - £130.00 PAYE. Axcis Education is seeking skilled HLTAs to work in both primary and secondary schools, supporting pupils’ learning and covering lessons where required.

• Support teaching and learning across the school, working with individuals, small groups, or whole classes.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and cover for teacher absences.
• Assist in planning, preparing, and assessing learning activities.
• Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs (SEND experience is a bonus).
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

• HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Experience supporting in primary or secondary settings.
• Confidence leading whole-class sessions and delivering pre-prepared lessons.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
