Class Tutor

Overview

We are delighted to invite applications from enthusiastic and experienced Class Tutors to join our growing team at Laurus Grace. We seek individuals who are deeply committed to supporting young people with additional needs.

To work with Laurus Grace students within their learning environment to support their learning and development and be the main pastoral contact for students and their parents/carers.

This position is contracted on a 35 hours per week plus 5 days Term Time Only basis. You will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. Work hours are flexible, except that Friday is a required working day.

• Sound educational background including GCSEs Maths and English (A*–C) or equivalent.
• Experience of working with young people who are vulnerable and/or who have special educational needs.
• Experience of delivering intervention to small groups of students or on a one-to-one basis.
