KS2 SEN Teacher Stockport
Salary: £27,456 £ 43,014 Full Time (40 hours per week)
About the RoleWe are recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate KS2 SEN Teacher to join a specialist primary provision supporting pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Purpose of the RoleTo plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse and individual needs of pupils, including those with SEND and trauma histories.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
- Adapt teaching using assessment data to monitor progress and inform next steps
- Promote pupils social, emotional, and academic development through trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, aligned with school policies
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and specialist staff to provide effective, consistent support
- Contribute to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans
- Hold QTS or QTLS
- Have proven experience teaching pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviour
- Demonstrate strong understanding of curriculum, assessment, and behaviour management within special education
- Be able to plan, deliver, and assess effective teaching and learning
- Show resilience, empathy, adaptability, and a passion for supporting vulnerable pupils
- Be committed to professional conduct, safeguarding, and inclusive practice
