Teacher Active is proud to be working with a specialist school in Stockport that supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school is looking for a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Support students with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to support pupil development
- QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience working with SEMH pupils, SEND settings, or challenging behaviour
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- A commitment to helping pupils achieve both academically and personally
