- Ongoing professional training and development The Opportunity You'll take ownership of the mechanical and process design of complex energy projects, producing high-quality engineering solutions from initial concept through to installation and commissioning. Working alongside experienced project teams, you'll be involved in:
Mechanical system design Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Pipe sizing and pump calculations Ventilation system design Technical specifications and design documentation CAD design coordination Supplier and client liaison Site surveys and technical support Supporting safe, cost-effective project delivery This is a varied role offering genuine engineering responsibility and the opportunity to work on projects that are helping businesses reduce emissions while improving energy efficiency.
We're Looking For We're keen to speak with Mechanical Engineers who have experience within one or more of the following: CHP / Combined Heat & Power Power Generation Process Engineering Energy Projects Industrial Plant Utilities Mechanical Building Services Oil & Gas Renewable Energy You'll ideally have: HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering 5 years' experience delivering engineering projects
Experience with pipework and ventilation design Knowledge of CDM and Health & Safety AutoCAD 3D (or similar CAD package) Strong Microsoft Office skills Full UK Driving Licence Working Hours Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm Friday: 8:30am-4:00pm Apply Today If you're an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking for technically challenging projects, long-term career progression and the opportunity to work on innovative low-carbon energy systems, we'd love to hear from you.
