S I Sealy & Associates delivers building services engineering solutions for healthcare, commercial, education and public sector developments across the UK. We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Electrical Engineer to support our growing portfolio of projects.
The RoleWorking under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will support the design and delivery of electrical building services systems across the relevant RIBA work stages. This opportunity may also suit an electrical contractor who is looking to move into a design office environment and develop their design consultancy skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with power, lighting, fire alarm and ICT designs.
- Produce calculations, schematics and technical reports.
- Prepare design drawings and specifications.
- Support Revit and BIM project delivery.
- Participate in site surveys and inspections.
- Attend client and design team meetings.
- HNC, Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a similar discipline. (Preferable)
- Approximately 1 to 3 years of experience within a consultancy environment.
- Understanding of BS 7671 and electrical design principles.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Support towards professional registration and Chartership.
- Experience across a varied range of building services projects.
