Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking to take the next step in your career? Join our close-knit Finance team in Stockport and play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Process client and office account transactions, receipts, payments, transfers, and write-offs
• Monitor and manage client account balances
• Handle petty cash, credit card transactions, and expense claims
• Process purchase invoices and supplier payments
• Prepare and maintain management reports, including fee earner and departmental performance analyses
• Support management accounts preparation and audits
• Maintain accurate financial data in our practice management system
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and support colleagues with financial procedures

• Proven experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm
• Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Experience preparing and interpreting management reports
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and legal accounting software (P4W preferred)
• Excellent organisation, communication skills, and attention to detail
