£45,000 – £50,000 (Full-Time Equivalent)

Circa 30 hours per week (3–4 days)

A growing SME based in South Manchester is seeking an experienced Part-Time Finance Manager to take ownership of a standalone finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working autonomously within a dynamic and expanding business.

The Role

Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for the full finance cycle, including:

* Preparation of monthly management accounts

* Month-end and year-end processes

* Bank reconciliations

* VAT return preparation and submission

* Purchase and sales ledger management

* Internal payroll reporting

* Stock control management

* Oversight of purchase orders

The Candidate

We are looking for a bright, articulate finance professional who can work independently and add value in a growing SME environment.

Key requirements:

* Part-qualified or fully qualified

* Broad, hands-on finance experience

* Previous experience within an SME environment preferred

* Experience using Xero accounting software

* Proactive and able to work on own initiative
