Hours:

Career progression opportunities About the role As Activities & Lifestyle Coordinator, you will support our team of Activities and Lifestyle Facilitators (ALFs) to make all of our care homes interesting and stimulating places to live. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the ALFs to ensure that their activity calendar increases meaningful occupation, exercise, time spent outdoors and celebrating diversity and inclusion. Working with our marketing manager for opportunities to showcase our activities externally. Supporting our homes to achieve and maintain the Veteran Friendly Framework accredited status. Providing coaching and mentoring to ALFs and training for new starters. Supporting our ALFs to make local contacts and increase their local networks that may be able to support increased meaningful occupation.
Providing hands on support at homes with activities during periods of absences. About you If you are enthusiastic and creative with previous experience of working with people living with dementia, in a similar position, this is the ideal role for you. You will be a good communicator, with strong organisational and planning skills. You must already have or be willing to enrol on a Level 3 NAPA Activity Provision Qualification and a coaching skills course.
You must also have a driving licence and be flexible to work early evenings and weekends when required.
