Gynaecology Appointments Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Gynaecology Appointments Officer in the Jasmine outpatient department. The successful Applicant will work as part of the team responsible for the booking of patients appointments , managing waiting lists and covering a busy reception area as well as a number of other administration tasks. Main duties of the job: this role is to work in a busy Outpatient Area.

As part of a small team, the successful applicant will carry out a range of administration tasks, which include processing referrals for routine, urgent and suspected cancer patients. Booking appointments into various clinics. Managing outpatient waiting lists to ensure appointments are booked in a timely and appropriate manner. Cancelling and rescheduling various clinics. Dealing with face to face and telephone queries from patients, GPS and members of the clinical team.

Covering a reception area, booking in patients as required. Preparing notes in readiness for clinics.
