The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Cheadle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in recruitment. No previous recruitment experience is required — we’ll provide full training and ongoing support — but a background in sales or a customer-facing role would be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

* Sourcing and engaging candidates via job boards, Linked In, and networking

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates and clients

* Managing the recruitment process from initial brief through to placement

* Conducting candidate interviews and assessments

* Supporting senior consultants with live vacancies

* Developing market knowledge within your specialist sector

* Working towards and achieving individual and team targets

What We’re Looking For

* A strong work ethic and a genuine desire to succeed

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Confidence when speaking to people over the phone and in person

* Resilience, determination, and a positive attitude

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

* Sales experience (or other commercial/customer-facing experience) is advantageous

* Recruitment experience is not necessary
