Developer - Mycannabis

Title: Developer
Location: Hybrid / Stockport – 1 day a week (Thursday)
Salary: Dependent on experience

We’re looking for a flexible, communicative Developer to join Mycannabis
, a fast-moving digital business in the medical cannabis space.

You’ll support teams across marketing, product, and operations—jumping between projects, solving problems, and delivering clean, scalable code. Expect a mix of Word Press and Laravel work, bug fixing, feature building, and general tech support across the business.

This is a great fit for someone who thrives on variety, works well with non-technical teams, and loves making an impact.

• Build and maintain websites/web apps (Word Press + Laravel)
• Jump into ongoing projects, fix bugs, ship features
• Collaborate with design/content to bring ideas to life
• Improve performance, UX, and internal workflows
• Support teams with technical insights and problem-solving
• Stay on top of best practices and suggest new tools or approaches

• Great communication and helpful attitude
• Comfortable switching between projects and teams
• 3+ years in web development
• Word Press (PHP)
• Solid HTML, CSS, Java Script
• Git

• Node.js / React
• Laravel experience
• End-to-end testing (e.g. Playwright, Cypress)
• Dev Ops (CI/CD, Docker)
• Shopify / Woo Commerce
• SEO, accessibility, or AI
• Jira (or similar tools)
• Interest in the medical cannabis space
