Senior IT Support Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Homebase (with travel to regional sites as required)

£39K- £45K Depending on experience + £5K Car Allowance and mileage

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team. Overseeing our 42 care homes across the UK. This is a senior technical role responsible for supporting and developing a complex hybrid IT environment across a multi‑site organisation. The successful candidate will act as the highest technical escalation point, providing expert support across Microsoft 365, infrastructure, networking, endpoint management and business‑critical systems.

The role combines hands‑on technical support, infrastructure management, project delivery and stakeholder engagement, ensuring reliable, secure and efficient technology services across the business.

• Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex IT incidents and problems across the organisation.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, One Drive, Teams, Entra , licensing and permissions management.
• Manage endpoint and mobile device administration through Microsoft Intune, including device enrolment, policy management and troubleshooting.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot networking infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs and site connectivity.
• Deliver infrastructure, cloud and Microsoft 365 projects from planning and implementation through to testing, documentation and post‑deployment support.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to colleagues and junior team members.
• Liaise with suppliers, third‑party vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support business objectives.
• Support site‑based technologies including access control systems, VoIP platforms and business‑critical applications.
• Participate in business continuity activities, including occasional out‑of‑hours support and site visits when required.
