We are seeking an Intermediate Platform Engineer with a background in cloud infrastructure services, automation and modern engineering practices. You will work with AWS technologies to build, maintain and enhance cloud platforms through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines and operational automation.

As a member of Platform Engineering Squad 3, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting platform capabilities that underpin critical business services. You will work closely with engineering, architecture and security teams to implement reliable, scalable and secure solutions while continually identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, automation and user experience.

You will also utilise modern AI-assisted engineering tools, including Kiro, Git Lab Duo and Microsoft Copilot, to accelerate delivery, automate repetitive tasks, improve code quality and documentation, and enhance operational effectiveness. We are looking for engineers who are comfortable embracing emerging technologies and applying them pragmatically to solve real business and technical challenges.

• Deliver and support cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure, platform and application performance issues.
• Design, implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations and modernisation initiatives.
• Contribute to the reliability, availability and security of platform services.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce operational effort.
• Work collaboratively with engineers and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
• Contribute to incident, problem and change management activities.
• Research and evaluate new technologies, tools and approaches that could improve platform capabilities.
