Junior SQL Data Analyst - South Manchester

Are you looking to develop your career in data analysis? We're seeking a motivated Junior SQL Data Analyst to join our growing Management Information team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with SQL and Microsoft BI experience who enjoys working with data, creating insightful reports and helping support business decision-making. You'll work with in a friendly, supportive team where you'll continue to develop your technical skills and gain valuable commercial experience.

As a Junior SQL Data Analyst, you'll extract, analyse and present data from SQL databases, producing management information and business insights using Microsoft BI tools.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Extracting and manipulating data using SQL.
• Producing reports, dashboards and data visualisations.
• Creating daily, weekly and monthly management information reports.
• Analysing large datasets to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Supporting forecasting and data mining activities.
• Producing ad hoc reports and performance analysis.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to deliver meaningful insights.

We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in data and reporting.

You'll ideally have:

• Good SQL skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Microsoft BI tools such as SSIS, SSRS or SSAS would be advantageous.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
