Team Leader – Connected Carers Team
The fostering service operates across three teams: the Connected Carers Team, the Mainstream Support and Supervision Team, and the Mainstream Recruitment and Assessment Team. This vacancy is within the Connected Carres Team.
As Team Leader you will:
- Manage a team of Assessing Social Workers responsible for Kinship Assessments.
- Take charge of duty tasks, managing Social Workers involved in Viability Assessments and Regulation 24 Assessments.
- Act as Duty Manager for the Mainstream Support and Supervision Team when their manager is unavailable.
- Experience working within a busy fostering service, ideally at a management level.
- Ability and confidence to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and a proven track record of prioritising workloads.
- Passion for delivering the best possible care for local children and commitment to the service’s future growth.
