Position: Fostering Team Leader (Connected Carers Team)

Team Leader – Connected Carers Team

The fostering service operates across three teams: the Connected Carers Team, the Mainstream Support and Supervision Team, and the Mainstream Recruitment and Assessment Team. This vacancy is within the Connected Carres Team.

As Team Leader you will:

  • Manage a team of Assessing Social Workers responsible for Kinship Assessments.
  • Take charge of duty tasks, managing Social Workers involved in Viability Assessments and Regulation 24 Assessments.
  • Act as Duty Manager for the Mainstream Support and Supervision Team when their manager is unavailable.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience working within a busy fostering service, ideally at a management level.
  • Ability and confidence to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and a proven track record of prioritising workloads.
  • Passion for delivering the best possible care for local children and commitment to the service’s future growth.
