Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division. Supporting some of our well‑known brands such as Kingsmill, Pataks, Blue Dragon, Jordans, Ryvita and Silver Spoon, amongst others. We deliver Shared Service activities across a wide range of disciplines including Customer Services, Consumer Care, Finance, Payroll, HR and IS.

Shift Pattern:
Enjoy a great work‑life balance with our 4‑on, 4‑off rota.

Hours:

Take on dynamic 12‑hour shifts running from 6 AM to 6 PM.

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that all processes are accurately followed. Your role will include managing a team of approx. 25 warehouse operatives, ensuring that all available products are despatched on time and in full, minimising damage, and documenting and communicating any issues promptly.

• Proactive Safety Champion: Take charge of hazard reporting, providing trending feedback to FLMs in Despatch, and ensuring our commitment to safety first motto.
• Leadership Opportunities: Step up and cover the Shift Manager when needed, showcasing your leadership skills and versatility.
• Multitask Expert: Take ownership of task allocation, leveraging our WMS and labour flexibility to ensure maximum order fulfilment.
• Talent Developer: Mentor and develop warehouse operatives, instilling the Company's Values and equipping them with the skills and attitudes needed for success.
• Drive for Standards: Keep our warehouse audit‑ready at all times, both inside and out, and lead workplace audits to reinforce our 'Safety First' message while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Problem Solver: Address service and stock issues promptly, escalating when necessary to ensure smooth operations.

• 2+ years’ experience in a warehouse/distribution environment
• 1+ years’ experience in a team leader role or equivalent
• PC literate with working ability in warehouse management system/excel
• Ability to work with numbers and follow processes accurately
• A good level of fitness for light to heavy lifting
