Mechanical Fitter

We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to be part of an exciting multi-year project at a brand-new manufacturing facility in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

• £20 p/h + overtime at enhanced rates
• Mon - Thu | 7 am - 3:30 pm (Early finish Fridays - 12pm)

• Working on one of the largest MOD projects ever awarded
• Maintaining and repairing HGVs and heavy-duty military vehicles
• Diagnosing faults using technical manuals & diagnostic tools
• Implementing safety, quality, and compliance procedures
• Collaborating with a skilled team in a high-tech environment

• 5+ years' experience as a Heavy Mechanical Fitter
• Mechanical Engineering Certification (City & Guilds / NVQ) - desirable
• Experience in vehicle assembly or maintenance (desirable)
• A military background (advantageous)
• Excellent problem-solving & teamwork skills
