Welder​/Fabricator

Job Overview

Arden White Aerospace and Defence Recruitment are currently working with a leading defence manufacturer. We are currently recruiting for Welder/Fabricators to join them on a permanent basis with salaries ranging from £35,000 - £39,000 per annum.

• Use appropriate welding techniques and perform welding activities to build steel welded assemblies
• Weld various joint configurations in various positions to work instructions
• Ensure through visual inspection that the welded finished component conforms to the drawing and requirements.
• Work in accordance with work instructions, engineering drawings and relevant Quality standards and SHE requirements.

• Welding / fabrication experience working on steel in a heavy engineering environment
• Experience in the use of primarily MIG (MAG and TIG desirable) welding systems including working with
• Must be Time Served Apprenticeship trained or hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
