Aluminium Welder​/Fabricator

Position: Aluminium Welder/Fabricator (Permanent)
Pay: £15.27 per hour (Permanent Position)

Hours:

Mon–Thu, 07:00–17:00 (Fridays off)
Overtime:
Time‑and‑a‑half after 38 hours
Benefits: 258.5 hours holiday (incl. stats & company shutdown), pension, on‑site parking

The Opportunity
We’re recruiting an Aluminium Welder/Fabricator to produce high‑quality fabrications from sheet, plate and sectional aluminium for a busy workshop team.

What you’ll do

Fabricate and weld aluminium from detailed engineering drawings
Cut, form and prep materials using bandsaws, guillotines, drills and rollers
Finish to a high standard, supporting assembly and dispatch as needed
Maintain safe systems of work and contribute to continuous improvement

What you’ll need

Proven aluminium welding & fabrication experience (MIG/TIG depending on piece‑part)
Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings
Sound knowledge of workshop tools and safe operating procedures
