Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) to join their machining team at their Bredbury, Stockport facility. This is a day-shift position working primarily on Mazak milling machinery, focusing on setting and operating to produce high-quality machined components. Programming is not required for this role.

• Setting and operating Mazak CNC milling machines
• Producing components to engineering drawings and specifications
• Conducting in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment
• Maintaining machining quality and efficiency standards
• Supporting continuous improvement and safe working practices
• Ensuring accurate job documentation and process adherence

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller (Setter/Operator)
• Experience with Mazak milling machinery
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Competence with inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges)
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Team-focused with a proactive approach to work

• Salary of £41,000 per year
