A specialist engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead operations within a precision fabrication environment. This is a key leadership position suited to a hands‑on professional with a strong background in sheet metal manufacturing and a passion for driving performance, safety, and continuous improvement.

You will take responsibility for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring output, quality, and safety standards are consistently achieved. Leading from the front, you'll support and develop your team while maintaining efficient workflow across multiple fabrication processes.

This is a full‑time, salaried position with performance‑related bonus payments issued twice annually.

• Supervise and coordinate production activities within a sheet metal manufacturing setting
• Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture, ensuring adherence to 5S standards
• Drive productivity, reduce waste, and identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Interpret engineering drawings and aerospace specifications to ensure compliance
• Support planning functions using MRP systems
• Lead problem‑solving initiatives and make effective operational decisions
• Manage and motivate a team to meet delivery and quality targets

• CNC routing and punching operations
• Heat treatment processes
• Forming techniques including hand forming, rubber press, and press‑brake work
• Inspection and quality verification methods

• Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment (essential)
• Time‑served sheet metal worker or fabricator (highly desirable)
• Strong technical understanding of fabrication and aerospace‑related specifications
• Experience working with MRP systems
• Confident decision‑maker with strong problem‑solving ability
• Proactive, forward‑thinking mindset
• Excellent communication and people leadership skills
