Warehouse Assembly Operative

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: Monday - Thursday (7.30 am to 4.30 pm). Friday (7:30am to 13:30pm)
Salary: £12.71 per hour

We’re currently working with a reputable manufacturing business that is expanding its Assembly & Warehouse team. They’re looking for experienced Assemblers/Packers who are reliable, motivated, and ready to be part of a growing and stable workforce. This business is driven by a lean manufacturing philosophy.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have previously worked in assembly or packing and are looking for a full-time role with long-term prospects. The company has a strong work ethic, excellent team culture, and values individuals who take pride in their work.

Role Responsibilities:

* Assemble small to medium-sized components to specification
 
* Could involve standing for 8 hours
 
* Pack finished products accurately and efficiently, ready for dispatch
 
* Follow standard operating procedures to maintain consistent quality
 
* Carry out visual inspections to ensure all items meet quality standards
 
* Work safely and effectively as part of a team to meet production and packing targets
 
* Maintain a clean and organised work area

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous experience in assembly, packing, or a similar warehouse-based role
- Use of electronic hand held scanner – (essential)
- Packing customer orders
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work to set targets – monitored by Overall Equipment Effectiveness
- A team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills
- Someone who takes pride in their work and fits into a company with a strong ethos
- Keen to be part of a stable and growing business
- Confident using a computer
