Full Time | Permanent
- 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rotation basis
- Salary up to £50,000

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a busy manufacturing operation, inspire a team to perform at their best, and play a key role in driving safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across our bottling and packaging operations.
What You'll Be DoingAs a Shift Manager, you'll lead and support a team of operators and line leaders, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
You'll:
- Lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve outstanding results
- Drive a culture of safety, quality and accountability
- Coach and support colleagues to help them reach their full potential
- Manage performance, development reviews and colleague engagement activities
- Ensure production plans are delivered efficiently and cost effectively
- Work closely with planning, engineering and other departments to maximise operational performance
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and audit readiness
- Support risk assessments, safe systems of work and health & safety compliance
- Play an active role within the Site Leadership Team, helping shape operational success
We're looking for a confident and hands-on leader who enjoys building high-performing teams and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential:- Previous experience as a Shift Manager within an FMCG or manufacturing environment
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills
- Experience managing team performance and driving accountability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S or Six Sigma methodologies
- Root Cause Analysis experience
- Experience writing risk assessments and safe systems of work
