Location: Romiley
Monday to Thursday: 1:45pm – 10:15pm
* Friday: 1:45pm – 7:45pm
Pickles Recruitment is recruiting for a Production Operator to join a well-established manufacturer of high-performance motor components.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, a hands-on approach and previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a busy production team, helping to manufacture and finish high-quality components while maintaining excellent standards of safety, accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment.
* Loading and unloading materials and components.
* Carrying out general production and assembly duties.
* Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Identifying and reporting any defects or production issues.
* Following production instructions and standard operating procedures.
* Completing basic production paperwork where required.
* Ensuring machinery and work areas are kept clean and tidy.
* Working towards daily production targets.
* Following all Health & Safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE.
* Supporting colleagues across the production department when required.
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in production, manufacturing or machine operating would be advantageous.
* A good eye for detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
* Comfortable working in a hands-on, factory-based environment.
* Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
