A leading care provider is looking for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to manage a nursing home in the Stockport area
, offering a salary of £65,000 per annum
.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with proven experience managing a nursing home and a strong track record of achieving and maintaining good CQC outcomes
.
The successful Nursing Home Manager will have strong leadership skills, excellent knowledge of CQC regulations
, and a proven ability to deliver high standards of care, clinical governance, compliance and staff performance.
As Nursing Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful day-to-day management of the nursing home.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the overall operation of the nursing home
- Leading and developing the nursing and care teams
- Ensuring high standards of resident care and clinical practice
- Maintaining good CQC standards and regulatory compliance
- Preparing for and managing CQC inspections
- Monitoring audits, care plans, medication and clinical governance
- Managing recruitment, induction, training and staff development
- Managing staff performance and supporting employee retention
- Working closely with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining excellent relationships with families and external professionals
- Ensuring safeguarding procedures and policies are followed
- Managing budgets, resources and occupancy Nursing Home Manager
- RequirementsRGN or RMN qualification is essential.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who has previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager, Care Home Manager, Home Manager or Deputy Manager within elderly care.
You must be able to demonstrate:
- Current RGN / RMN / Registered Nurse qualification
- Previous nursing home management experience
- A proven track record of good CQC reports / CQC outcomes
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
- Experience managing nursing and care teams
- Strong clinical and care governance knowledge
