Exceptional opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join a progressive and enthusiastic team in South Manchester, with a first‑opinion four‑day working week and weekend rota. They’re searching for an experienced vet who shares their values. Some sole charge may be required, so experience is 24‑hour clinic requires some ad‑hoc late evening (5pm‑11pm) and weekend work, on a rota basis.

A 7‑branch group, committed to offering only the best for their patients. Supported by an out‑of‑hours provision in their Tier 3 hospital and a multi‑disciplinary certificate‑led referral team in‑house. You'll have access to an exciting caseload and the full range of expertise, including advanced diagnostic imaging, doppler echocardiography, endoscopes, radiography suites, and much more.

Situated in a beautiful part of the UK, close to the Peak District and the Lake District, with excellent transport links and only a short train ride to the vibrant city of Manchester.

We work an average 4‑day week, with weekends compensated with time in lieu. A competitive salary with a typical range starting from £41,500 +, dependent on experience (2+ years).
