Customer Sales Advisor

Our client is a well-established and fully licensed financial services business based in Stockport, supporting customers who are looking for practical solutions to their financial circumstances.

They are now looking to appoint a Customer Sales Advisor to join their team. This is a customer-focused role for someone who enjoys speaking with people, understanding their circumstances and helping them find the right solution.

You'll have conversations with customers about their financial situation, understand their needs and explain the options available to them in a clear and straightforward way. The role combines customer service, relationship building and sales, with a strong emphasis on listening and understanding before recommending a suitable solution.

You'll be responsible for:

* Speaking with customers to understand their circumstances and requirements

* Conducting detailed customer assessments

* Building rapport and establishing trust

* Explaining available financial solutions clearly and professionally

* Helping customers understand the benefits and implications of different options

* Managing customer conversations from initial contact through to the appropriate solution

* Working towards individual performance and sales targets

* Maintaining accurate customer records and following regulatory requirements

* Providing a consistently high level of customer service

We're looking for someone who is confident, personable and comfortable having sensitive conversations with customers.

Previous experience in sales, financial services, customer service or an advisory environment would be beneficial.

Experience with in debt solutions or IVA is useful but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

What really matters is your ability to listen, build trust and understand what someone actually needs. You'll need to be empathetic, professional and able to explain information clearly, while also being comfortable working towards targets and taking responsibility for your own performance.

The role offers:

£26,000-£30,000 basic salary, depending on experience
Realistic OTE of £50,000
