Installation Engineer

Overview

We're hiring for an Installation Engineer to join a specialist engineering business based in Bredbury, Stockport. In this role, you'll be working on large-scale water treatment and filtration systems, installing plant equipment and PVC pipework on projects across the UK.

• £27.5k - £35k p/a
• Mon - Fri | 7am - 4pm
• Overtime available (Paid at 1.5x Saturdays / 2x Sundays)
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising with service)
• Paid hotels & travel when working away (+ £30 nightly allowance)
• Company van available if needed (available for personal use)

• Installing PVC pipework, filters, pumps, and dosing equipment
• Supporting new build & refurbishment projects for 25m/50m commercial pools
• Carrying out plastic welding, fabrication, bracketing, and plant room installs
• Working as part of a site team, travelling across the UK (working away up to 95% of the time)
• Assisting with commissioning and ensuring high standards of workmanship

• Experience in pipe fitting, plumbing, or PVC pipe installation
• Practical skills with fabrication tools and machinery
• CSCS, PASMA, or IPAF (advantageous but not essential)
• Positive, reliable attitude and willingness to work away from home
