The Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Customer Service Retention Specialist to join their existing sales team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong organisational and communication skills, this is the perfect temp to perm role for you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact existing customers to discuss their renewals.
  • Offer retention solutions and identify opportunities to maintain long‑term relationships.
  • Schedule sales appointments efficiently for both inbound and outbound enquiries and ensure a smooth handover to the sales team.
  • Arrange renewals with existing customers.
  • Proactively engage with customers via live chat, responding to sales enquiries with speed, accuracy and professionalism.
  • Conduct follow‑up calls and communications to ensure customer satisfaction post‑sale.

£12.24 an hour, plus bonus (£25,467, OTE £35,000). Shifts are working 8.00‑am‑5.00‑pm and 9.00‑am‑6.00‑pm on a rotational basis and one in five Saturdays 9.00‑am‑1.00‑pm (40 hours a week).

The Individual
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales ideally within a contact centre environment.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Results‑oriented with a proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience handling objections and turning dissatisfied customers into loyal ones.
  • Persuasive and results driven.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in using CRM software.
