Project Value: £250m-£300m Data Centre Project
We are currently recruiting for experienced Site Engineers, Quality Engineers and Senior Engineers to join a major £250m-£300m data centre project in Middlesbrough.
We are open to candidates looking for either permanent or freelance opportunities.
This is a long-term opportunity with an initial 12-month contract, with the project expected to continue for a further 2 years.
The Role- Site engineering and setting out
- Managing and coordinating engineering activities on site
- Quality assurance and quality control
- Preparing and managing ITPs and quality documentation
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
- Liaising with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team
- Monitoring works against programme, specification and quality requirements
- Identifying and resolving technical and quality issues
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
- Supporting the successful delivery of a large-scale data centre project
- Previous experience working for a main contractor is essential
- Relevant construction/civil engineering experience
- Proven experience in a Site Engineer, Quality Engineer or Senior Engineer role
- Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings and specifications
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a large project team
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related discipline
- Experience working on data centres, major infrastructure, industrial or other large-scale projects would be advantageous.
