Management Accountant - Tech - Hybrid

Position: Management Accountant - Tech Sector - Hybrid Working
Reed Finance are delighted to be partnering with a well established and highly reputable technology led business in the Teesside area to recruit a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven finance professional to join a dynamic organisation operating within the tech sector. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of financial reporting for designated business areas while partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders to provide valuable financial insight.

Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts, including commentary and variance analysis. Ownership of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting for specific business units. Support budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes. Deliver meaningful financial analysis across revenue, margins, costs and operational KPIs. Business partner with department managers to drive performance and improve financial understanding. Maintain robust balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.

Support year-end, audit and statutory reporting requirements. Review commercial opportunities, pricing structures and contract profitability. Assist with process improvement initiatives across finance, reporting and controls. Work closely with ledger teams to resolve financial queries and maintain data integrity. Person Specification Recent management accounting experience with responsibility for monthly reporting cycles. Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis capabilities. Experience producing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.

Good understanding of financial controls and audit requirements. Commercial finance exposure, including margin analysis, pricing or profitability reporting. Advanced Excel skills and confidence analysing large data sets. Experience using ERP or accounting systems. Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive approach with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
