Night Driver

Salary: £39,272.92 per annum plus performance bonus

Working an average 48 hour week, Monday to Friday, your typical start time would be 1700hrs

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an HGV Driver at our Middlesbroughsite.

Reporting to the Transport Managerin Middlesbroughandoperatingin a competitive market,you will be the face of Univar when delivering to our customers.

The role would suit a competent individual with experience oftrunkingas you will betrunkingand trailer swapping between our Univar Solutions locations,Widnes, Irlam&Cumbernauldbeing the most regular.

The role requires working tohigh standards in all aspects ofyourdutiesand the capability to work alone.

You will be serious about safety in everything you do and happy to be a team player.

• Dedicated
  75 plate DAF XG with built in sat nav, all round mirror cameras,fridgeand safety related aids
• SDC trailers with bungee net load security system

• The successful candidate will havegood communication skills, excellent attention todetailand be flexible with work times.
• It is essential that you are self-motivated and willing to learn.
• You will have high standards in all that you do and possess excellent customer service skills.
• An ADR certificate in packages and class 1 (C+E) HGV license is essential for this role.
• Experienced in working night shifts
• Good knowledge of smart phones to work with apps for reporting defects, tachohgraph compliance and driver telematics
