Maintenance - Grounds

260-day position

Salary: $15.04/hour Base Ssalary (based on previous full time experience)

Location: District

Available: School Year

A negative TB test result must be on file prior to starting work

Qualifications

Must possess a valid South Carolina Driver's License
Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
Positive employment history preferred
SLED/criminal background review required

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Status: "At-will" Employee

Responsible To: Director of Operations

Job Duties

Provide general maintenance of the grounds within the school district
Perform yard duties in order to maintain the school grounds in an attractive condition (i.e. grass cutting, trimming shrubs, etc.)
Keeps grounds free from trash and rubbish
Maintain building and premises (i.e. sidewalks, driveways, play areas) clean and neat at all times
Report any necessary major repairs and/or damage of district property
Provide assistance in other maintenance areas as assigned
Perform other related duties as required, as well as all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Copy of 10 year Driving Record issued from SCDMV
