Domestic Assistant

This domestic assistant post sits in the Delivery Frontline team of NHS Property Services, based at Cleveland Health Centre. The work centres on keeping the healthcare environment clean, safe and welcoming while following infection prevention and control, Health & Safety and COSHH procedures. Shifts are part-time, 12.5 hours a week, either early morning or evening, Monday to Friday. A standard DBS check is required.

• Carry out cleaning duties to a consistently high standard
• Support infection prevention and control measures
• Follow Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
• Complete routine cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the site
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service
• Follow NHS Property Services policies, procedures and cleaning schedules

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping or domestic services
• Experience in hospitality, facilities services, care or healthcare environments, or customer-facing roles

• Able to follow procedures and work safely

• Standard DBS check
