Production Planner

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting an innovative advanced manufacturing business in the search for a Production Planner to join their Operations team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing technology-led organisation supplying highly engineered products into demanding global markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring production plans are aligned with customer demand, material availability and manufacturing capacity, supporting on-time delivery and operational efficiency.

The Role

Working closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Project teams, you will develop and maintain production schedules across multiple product lines, ensuring plans are realistic, achievable and visible to key stakeholders.

  • Developing and maintaining production plans and manufacturing schedules
  • Translating customer demand and project requirements into achievable production plans
  • Monitoring material availability, manufacturing capacity and work-in-progress
  • Maintaining accurate ERP/MRP planning data
  • Supporting daily and weekly planning reviews
  • Identifying and escalating risks that may impact delivery performance
  • Communicating priorities and progress across operational teams
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities focused on planning, scheduling and production flow
About You

The successful candidate will have experience in production planning, manufacturing scheduling, supply chain planning or materials control within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Good understanding of production flow, capacity planning and inventory management
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive, structured and detail-focused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience gained within electronics, aerospace, defence, semiconductor or other advanced manufacturing sectors would be advantageous.
