Under general supervision of the chief's office, develops and maintains our departmental website using audio, video, animation, text, and graphics. Having previous experience in video, audio, and television production will help you excel in this exciting opportunity. Performs administrative and community engagement‑related work as required. The position may require a flexible schedule with evening and weekend assignments.

administrative aide iis the entry‑level class in this series within the professional administrative support services. This class is alternatively staffed with administrative aide ii, and incumbents may advance to the higher level after successfully completing a one‑year probationary period and gaining one additional year of experience and demonstrating proficiency which meets the qualifications of the higher level class.
administrative aide iiis the journey‑level class in this series distinguished from administrative aide i by the performance of more difficult work, complexity and diversity of assignments.
possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business, public administration or a closely related field and two (2) years of work experience performing the duties of an administrative aide i. Extensive administrative experience including public contact may be substituted for education on a year‑for‑year basis to a maximum of two years.

the examinationapplicants who qualify in terms of relevant work experience and education, that best fit the needs of the city, will be invited to participate in the examination process. The examination process may include an oral exam or a training and experience evaluation examination weighted 100%. However, the city reserves the right to utilize alternative testing methods if deemed necessary. Candidates must receive a minimum passing score of 70%, as determined by the relative performance of all candidates in all portions of the examination.
