Clinical Educator - Immunisation and Vaccination Training
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Educator to join our growing Tees Valley Training for Health team, delivering high-quality Immunisation and Vaccination training to primary care staff across the Tees Valley.
You will deliver both initial and update immunisation sessions for clinical and non-clinical learners, supporting them to develop safe, evidence-based practice. Working within your professional code of conduct and scope of competence, youll uphold the highest standards of training and professionalism, guided by our organisational policies and commitment to quality.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you may occasionally be required to assist in other departments within the organisation to support service delivery.
There may also be scope to develop and facilitate training in the future on:
- Cervical Screening
- ECG
- Introduction to Long-Term Condition Management
This job will require you to travel around our ICP area (
Darlington, Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland). It is a zero-hours contract.

Job responsibilitiesIn accordance with service needs, you will:
Training and Delivery
- Plan, organise and deliver clinical training sessions in various formats including classroom-based delivery, simulation exercises and hands-on clinical practice.
- Stay up to date with evidence-based delivery methods to ensure that training is engaging, interactive and accessible for all learners.
- Lead classroom clinical simulations to replicate real life scenarios to enhance critical thinking, decision making and technical skills.
- Tailor training delivery to meet the needs of different learner groups including newly qualified nurses and experienced staff requiring upskilling/annual revalidation.
- Deliver training that aligns with current clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Highlight and promote evidence-based practices to improve patient care outcomes.
- Ensure that training materials are up-to-date and relevant to current clinical practices.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration and self-directed learning.

- Provide constructive feedback to learners to support their professional growth and development.
- Work closely with the Learning and Development Lead and other stakeholders to align training delivery with the organisations Learning and Development vision.
