Overview
Operations Support Manager, MSP - CX Support (Process & Performance) MSP CX team provides support to internal fulfillment and transportation network customers that rely on advanced robotics technology to fulfill and ship customer orders. You will work with operations leaders to maximize the performance of advanced robotics systems and serve as the link between operations leaders and technologists, engineers, and support technicians.
You will launch new systems, develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, and drive best practices across Amazon's customer fulfillment network. You will develop standard operating procedures, performance metrics, and feedback mechanisms to enable the MSP CX team to scale. You will collaborate with robotics hardware and systems experts to ensure safety, reliability, and performance of emerging robotics technology. You should be able to work independently in a complex, fast-paced, high-throughput environment with multi-tasking.
responsibilities
- Conduct process and performance analysis and provide direct site and regional support for MSP product lines and customers.
- Develop network-wide process improvement solutions to enhance sort automation entitlement using field observations and value stream analysis.
- Support MSP internal teams and network partners with process and performance subject matter expertise.
- Travel up to 75%.
- Flexible locations across the US.
- 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
- Bachelor s degree
- Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
- Master s degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
- Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools
